We will start by focusing on my immediate community (which is, by all means in crisis), Delta County and the surrounding areas of the North Fork Valley, Surface Creek, Cedaredge and Delta. We have chosen jewelry because this is my area of expertise, and I have been blessed with over 40,000 beads and loads of Second-Hand Jewelry for our first donations
I've pre-designed and put together (200) FREE Beeding Kits, you may pre-order these to pick up in Delta, or can be shipped for a $7 fee, (I'd love to cover shipping someday) CLICK HERE TO VIEW FULL GALLERY
Determine what elements should go into each Kit and how many pieces each one should have; the focal, connectors, links, something repurposed, floral, edgy, sparkly, a heart, 3-4 charms, chains, findings AND MANY BEEDS11111
This diagram is basically the main structure of the design, these pieces are arranged like a blueprint, a map; a PUZZLE is really what these are
Over 40,000 beads have been donated!!!

I. Project Delta Launch; SECOND-HAND JEWELRY & LEARNING TO BEAD, "Bee Box Beeding™ Kits"
A. The Contents of Learning How to Beed™ (the misspelling is on-purpose [isn't that clever?!😅] Kit:
1) Focal Piece -- the main piece we build onto and around
2) Connector -- connects elements to the Focal Piece
3) Links -- popular and trendy connectors
4) Something Repurposed -- much cheaper materials and abundant supplies available, this is an opportunity for originality
5) Something Floral -- embellishments, charms or connectors, Bohemian (Boho) genre style, representing the Art Nouveau artistic movement (what is Boho?), also similar to Impressionism, another favorite artistic expression (what is Impressionism? [Van Gogh])
6) Something Steampunk/Rocker -- very popular throughout history, my favorite artistic expression, conveys Surrealism (what is Surrealism? [Salvador Dali, upside-down clocks])
7) Something "Blingy" -- something FUN! Rhinestones, glittery, shiny, something that symbolizes happiness!
8) Hearts -- our basic mantra and truth of the universe as people, is that love is a basic human need! Nothing is more important than Love, it is not defined by time or space, it is the most important part of life and existence. Love is not tangible, nor does it die, nor is it bound by time, as we experience as humans
9) (3-4) Charms -- CleverLee Charmed Jewelry, charm jewelry makes everything fun!!
10) (2) Beaded Bees -- Bee Sisters are plural, at the very least it is the two of us and neither of us are alone, enduring the pain that is PTSD. That's what this whole thing is, the B-Sisters, and we are no longer alone suffering. Here as SISTERS, it gets easier now, because we survive TOGETHER-- WE represent this truth with the two beaded bees
11) Chaining -- 2" to 4" large chain section, 6" to 8" small chain sections
12) Soft Beading Wire/String & Crimps -- 12" to 16" wire/string, (8) crimps
13) (2) Lobster Clasps -- gives the ability to wear your art in more ways than one, giving the opportunity to be more original each time you wear it; the necklace becomes CleverLee (cleverly 😆) worn
14) Jump Rings -- various sizes and metal finishes, basic connecting how many
15) Nail and Eye Pins -- various sizes and metal finishes, basic building, how many
16) Basic Jewelry Making Tool Pack -- (3) necessary tools for the craft; wire cutters, round-nose pliers, needle-nose and/or bent-nose pliers
17) Measuring Tape -- the more you pre-plan your designs, the easier it is to succeed in the completion of your art
18) Zippered Pouch -- contains everything, the Beeding™ Kit
19) (15 - 20) Beads -- varying in size and color
• small, medium, large beads what size mm
• turquoise, orange, peach, white, black list all colors
20) Packaging & Shipping Materials -- small bubble wrap mailer, labels, small Ziploc bags to separate contents
B. Budget/Costs Breakdown, What We Still Need:
C. Official Project Proposal to the Community, Donations Request:
The next step is to acquire those final remaining supplies detailed above-- WE NEED THE TOOLS the most at this point. I am finishing the Official Project Proposal I'm providing to my community (formal donation request) right now... I'm working hard people, hang in there with me! We're also currently moving, and I wanted to have this ready before this, but alas, there are always thrown wrenches like a blizzard... I am very close to completion, like tonight or tomorrow, still really pushing to release into the public-- it is Wednesday 9:54 am. I can always start with just (50) or (100) Beed Kits to be distributed to make this easier?
D. Put Together Kits Containing Contents in A.
1) I layout the jewelry pieces in front of me like a puzzle, the contents listed in A. This is the initial design, the blueprints, the template, storyboard, map:
2) I'll make (200) of these storyboards and project directions (maps). Each Jewelry design goes with each Kit, and I'll give directives how to begin each project, printed and included.
E. Access to Beed Kits
1) Each necklace design will be posted right in my store, right here on this website, in (200) new, free items (except for shipping currently)
2) People can choose from those (200) items in my shop, and I'd like to distribute these as soon as possible, so they can be made and gifted before Christmas this year
F. What We Will Be Learning About Beading, the Function of:
1) A skill that could potentially make income
2) Beneficial habits instead of destructive coping
3) How to diffuse anger and calm when in survival mode
4) To gain confidence and love ourselves
5) About repurposing and upcycling materials for Art Projects, second-hand jewelry is abundant and affordable; this is an underutilized alternative resource for jewelry making. I've found and enjoyed so many little things, that's retail therapy. Scoring memorable items to make into jewelry and art is so fun to me; from one person's "story" to another person's treasure that is rare. Second-hand jewelry supplies are much more affordable, vintage jewelry is easy to come by and there is always plenty.
6) Basic jewelry design, the basic structure and components of a necklace; composition in necklace design
7) Critical thinking, logic, problem solving and troubleshooting, cognitive thinking, what is clever outside the box
8) Finishing a basic task, TRAUMA RECOVERY
9) Different necklace types, styles, and configurations
10) Trending fashion and holiday styles
11) Art Movements in History, Art Nouveau (Boho) and Surrealism (Punk Rock & Steampunk)
12) Learn to love others and ourselves in different, more meaningful ways
G. Distribution of Beed Kits
I want to DO THIS PART RIGHT--
1) Online Orders can be chosen anytime
2) Regional in-person access and local pickup/delivery, Delta, Colorado and surrounding areas; Cedaredge, Hotchkiss, Paonia and Montrose. Let's plan on soft launching this week, stay tuned and check back please and thankyou! 🙏
H. Orchestrate a Competition, Incentive and Motivation to Complete the Project We learn how to heal, grow and gain confidence, just as we learn to beed-- it is the same process as creating is. We will conduct a competition, where the receivers can picture and submit their finished projects, and we will offer a prize-winning cash amount of $200 (can be more a less, I just thought it would be a great idea to jumpstart the program.)
i. Logistics:
We are located on the Western Slope of Colorado, where Delta is geographically central in the region. This is my immediate community, I am starting here because my area is really being hit with poverty, and we know what happens with areas like this-- we see high incidents of violence and drug-stricken community. The women that have been so incredibly kind making all these donations are located are from this area as well.
We start with what's in front of us, that's why this is called "Project Delta." Based on the success of this we'll know whether or not if we can expand. Ideally, I'd like access to be throughout the Western Slope to begin with; people are really suffering here, and it is A CRISIS, to say the least.
I'm thinking locally we can arrange a soft launch event at our local recreation center, the Bill Hicks Rec Center. It is a good central location for the whole region for the people we want to help. It is safe and easy to get to without a vehicle. This Rec Center is already a peaceful environment that is conducive to Health and Wellness-centered lifestyle; I still need to go talk with them...
J. The Buzz Plan Here on Out:
I'd like our first launch events to also be Art Supply Drives. People can drop their donations off at this event, meet me and possibly sit down for some beading exercises. Perhaps an event that allows us to do some workshop hands-on beading too-- three things to offer at the event.
K. How Do We Know if We've Succeeded?
What is the measure of success and potential likelihood of other jewelry/art/jewelry programs to develop?
L. Next Potential Jewelry Projects that I Already Have Materials for:
1) Seed Beads
2) Southwestern
3) Feather and Leather Work
4) Funky and Oversized Jewelry
5) Geometric and Repetition
6) Spring & Easter
7) Beach Boho
8) Pride
What Happens Next ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT IS DONATED
II. "THE ART OF GIFTING" Project Proposal ; PEN PALS COLORING BOOKS & MATERIALS
Establishing Sisterhood and connection with other women who are also navigating the impossible path of loss-- we're going to do a Gifting Exchange program, sending colorings.
There is something so sacred about when two people who don't really know each other, create something for one another. My Sister Eva and I have been exchanging art for the past several years; with the entirety of our own hearts... that's healing and growth on another level--
Our friendship is seriously so beautiful, and we've never talked on the phone-- we met through FB, she sold me a chair she made, and we've been homies ever since! She's really been there for me through some very dark times in the past several years, we were there for each other, just making all this art! This program is based on Eva and I's friendship!
